I Can’t Believe How Happy This Made Me
For the longest time, I thought jeans only came in even sizes. There is a 34-inch waist (too small) and a 36-inch waist, and if I do not wear a belt (I hate belts), my pants will legitimately fall down.
I happened to be on Amazon and remembered that my favorite jeans had a hole in them (don’t you hate that?). So I went to look for my old order and found that I could buy jeans with a 35-inch waist.
WHAT!?!?!?!
I don’t know how I’ve missed this FOR DECADES, but it’s true. When they arrived, and I put them on, it was like butter for my legs. I couldn’t believe how happy this made me.
Today in Ohio, it was “brisk” as Spring keeps appearing and leaving. After my alarm went off, I pulled back the covers and felt the chill. I said, “Alexa, turn the heat up to 68 and instantly heard the furnace kick on. Again, it’s a little thing - but it made me smile.
If you celebrate the small wins, you celebrate a whole lot more. The attitude of gratitude is healthy. While I can’t always pull it off, life is better when I do.
Celebrate the small things.

Stuff That Caught My Eye
Mike Birbiglia Interviewing Ira Glass
I LOVE Mike Birbiglia’s stand-up. It's AMAZING storytelling. In this episode, he talks with Ira Glass of This American Life, who had tried stand-up and wanted Mike to help him “punch it up” and look into why things are funny. It's a great episode.
A Great Company Gets Into Website Protection
I’ve used Bunny.net for different things over the years. Primarily, I use them to cache my images on my WordPress site (to speed things up), and if you want to stream videos, but don’t want to use YouTube, it’s a good option. They recently got into website security (I pay $150/year for WordFence) and this seems cheaper for the same thing (and they even have a free version). Check it out.
Update on Fresh Store
I recently told you about Fresh Store a great tool to make a store filled with affiliate links (especially Amazon). I paid my $4/month and started in. The good news is you can put a TON of information into your store. The bad news is? You can put a TON of information into your store. For example, if you want people to search by brand, you have to put in the brand name. Well, the brand name can (if you want) have its own page that explains who they are, how long they’ve been around, etc. So I ignore most of that stuff, but I see where I thought it would take 15 minutes to put up a store, and now it’s more like an hour.
Granted it is “set it and forget it” but I wanted to give you an update. Check it out.
